I have been fighting with these rotten teeth for about 7 to 8 years. Every year I was put on penicillin about twice a year for infections. Started at 250mg and now 1000mg each time. This is killing me. Last year I got a root infection and almost had a heart attack. Hubby is starting in not far behind me. They look terrible black some missing etc. I have called and tried everything to get help. The so called free clinics are not free. And if it is to far from you they tell you they can't help you because you are out of their area. I am disabled and unable to work and hubby is self employed so you can't get unemployment even if you only worked a few days in a month or less. I can't get disability benefits because I didn't work enough in my life due to disabilities and can't get sub disability benefits because he makes just over the limit which is very low already. These infections are slowly killing me and hubby is not far behind. What do people like us do? I did see a very kind dentist who said he will pull teeth and take payments. The gal next door talked to him because I came so close to dieing. But after seeing my teeth he said you have to be put out for these. Great back to square one. All I can do is pray and ask God to hold on to me for my kids and hubby's sake. It is very hard to go anywhere. It is getting harder and harder to hide these teeth. Now my husband is starting to have to many problems with his. My heart goes out to him because I know how painful and hard this is to live with. Not to mention how bad it can get. I hope those who read this will pray for us. And for those who are going through this can find the help they need. This is the United States of America. It is sad to think that people here could wind of dieing due to rotten teeth because of not enough money. For those women who got their teeth knocked out by their husbands my heart goes out to you. I have been there too like you. But now have a good man.
